about

From the earliest times a huge serpent lived in the creek of river Zay. By the grace of Tengri, this serpent became an edification for all living creatures. Body of a snake, extremities of a snow leopard, wings of a falcon - it's name was Baradj. Famous and honourable host of river Zay, emeer of all pangolins, mighty blade of Shakhmar (the snake chief).

Once upon a time, Bulyar tribe appeared near the banks of river Zay. They tended their cattle and built up a town near the Zay's creek. Baradj discommended such self-will of these people. And suddenly, in the middle of a clear day, the sun was covered with shadows - Baradj has spread his wings.

He could burn a village with a single exhale, one clap of his wings could devastate fields of wheat. And when he came down on the ground, he could kill people by thousands. Bulyar people were amazed by Dragon's power and renamed their tribe after Baradj. After leaving the Serpent's lands, they built the city of Bulyar on their new place. And the old place remained in people's memory as Grad-Gora.
