2012. Baradj comes up with an interesting idea – to record live improvisations in a studio.
We selected a day for collective musical meditation. We wanted to record something, but had no idea what it’s gonna be. Only our energy and vibrations of instruments.
This is how experimental improvisation ALPS 1.0 appeared. It has some nuances related to sound and quality, but this was not the main thing fo us. Our interest was to find out whether we can make music in such a way or not. And it turned out that we can.
Despite all restraints and cares, we played several melodies, some of which we decided to show and included them into this release.
The album depicts beautiful images and characters of devas and alps (alyp). "Alyp" / "Alp" means "hero", "daeva", "wonder", "monster", "spirit", "jinn" and like.
The album is dedicated to our friends and to all who took part in recording this live.

2012 год. Группу Барадж посетила интересная идея – записать живые импровизации на студии.
Был выбран день для совместной музыкальной медитации и записи чего-то, о чем музыканты даже не договаривались. Только наша энергия и вибрации инструментов.
Так родилась экспериментально-импровизационная пластинка ALPS 1.0. В ней есть свои нюансы по звуку и качеству, но это не было для нас главным. Нам было интересно получиться ли музыка? И она получилась.
Несмотря на все преграды и тревоги мы сыграли несколько мелодий, некоторые из них мы посчитали нужным оставить, и они вошли в этот релиз.
В альбоме преподнесены красивые образы и характеры дивов и алыпов. "Алып"/"Алп" означает "герой", "див", "чудо", "чудовище", "дух", "джин" и т.д.
Альбом посвящен нашим друзьям и всем, кто участвовал в записи лайва.

Dear friends, Baradj has prepared a wonderful surprise for you despite our hard work on the second full format album. We’re glad to represent a collection of sheer experimental improvisation tracks which was created that spring at the rehearsal hall Black & White. You have an opportunity to witness the creation of post-rock, post-metal and post-folk-metal music. You won’t hear any arrangements, any rehearsed songs. All you can hear is the pure improvisation. Special thanks to Misha and Philip for their support and assistance in recording.
