After a month since the drop of ALPS 1.0, Baradj went to a studio to record their next live improvisation.
The next experiment continued the topic of the previous one and was called ALPS 2.0.
Every time, we fell in love more and more with the spiritualistic instrumental that we created. Each session had its own individuality.
Due to the fact that every member of the band has his own musical background, each of them brought his unique energy into this process. And as usual, we never had any agreements on what we are going to play, tonalities, time signatures or anything like that. We never discussed anything concerning the future record, except that all equipment must be in place, and everybody should sound properly.
This record includes only 3 tracks, but they transmit the energy of pagan spirits.
Experimental improvisation ALPS 2.0 doesn’t have brilliant sounding. It’s made in a pretty lo-fi manner.
Such underground experiments happen for us to learn how to make music. As the result, we learn from each other and support each other. Without that, the whole show becomes just a noise, or the music turns into something that people have already done.
Improvisation is difficult when you do it with people you don’t know, but if you spend some years of your lifetime with them, you would have much more understanding of what you want to create together. This is how the real music is born.

Спустя месяц после выхода ALPS 1.0, группа Baradj отправилась на студию для записи следующей лайв-импровизации.
Следующий эксперимент продолжил тему предыдущего и был назван ALPS 2.0.
Нам с каждым разом все больше нравился спиритический инструментал, который мы создавали. У каждой сессия была своя индивидуальность.
Исходя из того, что каждый участник группы слушает разную музыку, каждый привносил в процесс свою энергию. И мы как всегда не договаривались, о чем будем играть, какая будет тональность или размер. Ничего не обсуждали, кроме того, что все должно быть подключено, и все должны звучать.
В этой пластинке вышло всего 3 композиции, но они хорошо передают энергию языческих существ.
Экспериментально-импровизационная пластинка ALPS 2.0. Звуком она тоже не блестит, но звучание лоу-фай никто не отменял.
Такие андреграундные эксперименты учат нас писать музыку. В результате мы учимся друг у друга, поддерживая друг друга. Без этого все шоу может превратиться просто в шум, или во что-то, что люди уже давно научились делать.
Импровизация сложна с людьми, если ты не знаешь их, а если прожил полжизни с ними, то будет больше понимания того, что вы хотите создать вместе. Так рождается настоящая музыка.

We’re glad to represent a collection of sheer experimental improvisation tracks which was created that summer at the rehearsal hall Black & White. You have an opportunity to witness the creation of post-rock, post-metal and post-folk-metal music.
It is dedicated to our friends.
